For those of you who have had a test with me…

  • Whatever foods you are intolerant of , you MUST read labels on everything you eat. Especially if you are intolerant to dairy products, yeast, soya or sunflower.  These foods are in SO many products.
  • Three months exclusive avoidance gets you to the place where your body will cope with the problem food again….for nearly all of you. The foods which most commonly remain a problem despite three months careful avoidance are ‘Sweet artificial flavours’, monosodium glutamate, orange.
  • When you introduce foods which you have avoided for the three months, do so carefully, one at a time, at four day intervals, as suggested in my paperwork.
  • If you were intolerant to a favourite hot drink, and then on introducing it back into your diet you do not like the taste, wait another month and try again.

For those of you who are trying to work out which foods/drinks affect you…

  • the most likely suspects will be those you are having twice a day or more.
  • the cause is far more likely to be a food/drink that you regularly consume than what you just ate in a big meal.
  • last year wheat intolerance occurred in less than 0.25% of my clients. Vegetables were a problem for even less than that. BUT tea or coffee was a cause for just over a third of adults tested.

I have been seeing a steady trickle of people who have read my book. When they make a booking and I realise this my heart sinks, as I presume they have tried my sample diet and have not been helped. Nearly all of them thought that my guidelines did not apply to them, but on testing we found the causes were all part of my suggested exclusion diet.

FINALLY…

I now have online booking for both the full test and retests.  The process is simple, and saves a lot of backwards and forwards emails or phone calls. The booking is for one hour, but I always allow longer than this.
